Gene Brenek is a young-adult author who writes about gay boys falling in love.
Gene’s a graduate of the Vermont College of Fine Arts, Writing for Children and Young Adults program and an active member of his local Austin SCBWI chapter. When he’s not writing YA, he’s at Texas State University speaking on the power of branding and creativity. And when he’s not writing or discussing creative writing, Gene hangs out with his husband and cats watching musicals on endless repeat.
